I also used the rest of the ceramics beads I had made late last year.
You can find this in my shop
It was tempting to just keep it! But I still have plenty of that roving left so its all good. :) I also priced this a bit cheaper than what it probably should be because I know a lot of people are feeling the economy, so it's a pretty darn good deal.
Off to finish another necklace! :D

That's so neat! Great result. Did you needlefelt them or wet felt them? I've considered making felted balls out of some of my scrap yarn and roving... I've seen felted "stone" rugs that are REALLY cool-looking.
Thanks you all!
They were wet felted mainly, but I went back and did some needle felting on the connecting part.
Lori, I had a great interest in trying this at one time but I bought some books, and after reading everything i needed i never tried, but i just checked out your Copperpot link and it looks fairly affordable. Is it very labor intensive and is there a simple book on how to do it? I returned all the books i bought.
Sharon,
It's not hard to wet felt at all. Especially not beads. You're basically just rolling up tuffs of roving into balls in warm soapy water. Then ya let them dry and string them with wire or cord or whatever with a needle. That's verbatim anyways. If you Google 'how to wet felt" or even how to needle felt, there are tons of good tutorials out there. That's how I learned. :) You should try it, you might really love it! It's not hard. And Copperpot's roving is the most affordable I could find on Etsy, especially for the amount you get. And it was soooo lovely and soft and the colors are beautiful. :) I hope you try it soon!
Thanks Lori for the info, off to google!!
I love it! You've inspired me to use the roving that I bought!
